The Institute for Environmental Studies is pleased to announce that the course "Basic Marine Biology I" is to be held between the 15th and 21st July, 2008. This introductory course is designed for participants interested to learn more about the marine environment, and provides basic knowledge on the diversity of marine life and important habitats, human impacts and conservation aspects of the marine environment.

The closing date for applications is 30th June, but early booking is recommended to ensure participation. A Certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who complete the course.
