6/25/2007 - Unfortunately the destruction of our Islands is continuing unabated. With so much of Malta ruined, over-development is now threatening to ruin the last remaining jewel, Gozo. A scandalous permit has been approved for the construction of 23 villas at beautiful Ramla Bay, while mega-projects are threatening Hondoq ir-Rummien, Ta’ Cenc and other parts of Gozo. These stunning, unspoilt landscapes are not only part of our heritage, but also sites of great ecological value, and their development will be a great loss to both the local population and the Maltese public in general.

Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar insists that these projects are not acceptable and along with other environment groups, FAA is organising a national SAVE GOZO protest against this development next MONDAY 25th JUNE at 6.30pm meeting at City Gate Valletta.
